Our sausages are hand-made by our local Master Butcher Trevor Stark who expertly carries out the cutting of all South Gundenham Farm meat.
Our pigs are Oxford, Sandy & Blacks [OSB’s] – one of the oldest British pig breeds and is now a rare breed. Our OSB’s are really great pigs: very active, love playing games and racing round the paddocks.
Happy pigs equals good tasty pork which really makes the difference to for tasty sausages. The seasoning and the crumb we use in the sausages is organic. Once we’ve made the sausages, we refrigerate for 24 hours so that the seasoning has time to enrich the pork, then we freeze for freshness. We currently have fantastically tasty pork sausages or pork and leek sausages for sale.
